Victorian Valentines

Sending "sweet" wafts of love. *snark snark*
Narcissistic much? No matter. She's beloved.

Sometimes, mindless scrolling on Facebook can actually yield a good result. Case in point, seeing an event advertised to make Victorian-themed Valentine collages at a local art studio. Turns out The Little Dream Factory and artist Cristina Clarimon of Madcollage is a little slice of "she-shed" heaven right in Williston, Vermont. Warm and cozy - not just the studio, but Cristina and the other three participants as well. What a lovely escape on a cold, dreary winter afternoon. Cristina was so generous with lending her skill, time, encouragement and materials. It was a fabulous afternoon of getting snarky or lovey-dovey in our Valentine making. I did a little of both. Above all else, connecting with these other creative women while making art in a cozy space, sipping ginger tea, was nothing short of what my soul needed. I'm hesitant to share this little secret delight for fear of spoiling its intimacy, but Cristina offers an array of affordable, fun workshops on a monthly basis. Find more on her Madcollage Facebook page.
