The days have been full, very full. We headed out last weekend on a road trip to see family. It was wonderful of course, but left a host of usual weekend things to squeeze in during the week. You know, the grocery shopping and laundry and bill paying and the like. I'm also working on my grad school application and trying to plan our travel arrangements for my brother and sister-in-law's upcoming wedding in Arizona. So much newness on the horizon. So much possibility. The summer has a way of doing that. Things seem to come into focus in the summertime for me. Maybe it's the energy of the sun or the extra fresh air or the realization (when you work in higher ed) that a new year is not far off. Whatever it is, I like it. We're going places.
